In Forum Mortuorum, you manage a gladiator school on its journey from obscurity to glory. Managing your school well requires you to balance tactical and strategic decisions. Will you employ your limited funds to recruit and equip the best team you can today? Or will you save up to invest in your facilities and purchase unique items and rare magic from visiting characters?

Pick your matches from a procedurally generated league to maximize your glory and profit while minimizing your casualties. Assign powerful perks to the gladiators who make it through their matches while training and healing those that skipped the match

  • Randomized league: Pick challenging but winnable matches to maximize your profit and team development while keeping your best gladiators alive
  • ‘Hands-off’ arena matches: watch from the stands as your gladiators battle it out through a diverse variety of Mediterranean arenas
  • Classless character development: innate traits, training, injuries, and perks drive your gladiators’ style and specialties
  • Varied equipment: Shop from both local and visiting merchants and win legendary items from tournaments. Experiment to find the best loadout for your team
  • Seasonal tournaments: work your school towards qualifying for and participating in periodic tournaments - the true test of your school’s mettle
